Below are real examples of how small donations can make a real difference.

A small amount of shares can make such a difference for children in vulnerable communities.

 Michael donated a parcel of shares and recommended to the ShareGift Board that the donation be provided to Good Beginnings.  The particular parcel of shares was 400 shares in an automotive industry stock.  He felt the parcel would be better liquidated and used for his chosen charity .  The parcel of shares was sold for the sum of $98.00 on the 24^th March, 2011.   

At the end of the quarter, the ShareGift Board did see fit to donate $500 to Good Beginnings.   The Board was able to recommend the amount be topped up as there were other donors who had not recommended charities.

The donation went towards nurturing healthy development and wellbeing of children at Good Beginnings.
